We are pleased to announce the launch of “Breakfast & Briefs,” a new monthly legal seminar series presented in partnership with the Amity Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Charter Senior Living.

Beginning April 21, this complimentary program will offer practical, timely legal insights for businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations throughout the region.

Zabel Schellenberg partners Owen Weaver and Courtney George will lead the sessions, beginning with a 2025 Connecticut legislative update, including:
• Consumer protection changes (PA 25-44)
• Updates to the State Set-Aside Program (HB 7287)
• Workers’ compensation changes (PA 25-12)

Future seminars will address additional topics such as Connecticut leave laws, business liability, and other issues central to operational success and compliance.
